Tapestry of lights, 2015. 200 pixels, in a rough matrix. Pixel string is loosely mounted on a backdrop of silver gray fabric (shower curtain!) with a diffusing layer of organza hung in front of the lights. FastLED, Perlin noise, and custom code for 2D rotation, scaling, and transformation, and cross fades between color palettes - some hand-selected, some machine-generated.

Control box has a brightness slider, and a three-position switch for “chill”, “dynamic”, or “rave” which controls various animation speed and brightness parameters.

Tapestry and power supplies (12v, 8A total) fold flat in a small rolling case, for easy transport and adding atmosphere quickly to parties and events. Hangs from existing curtain rod, or from brads or ‘command hooks’.
