Hi... this is our application for the NPR Tiny Desk Competition 2018 - we wrote this song MERCY during the rains in California 2017 (we lived there then). It was a brutal winter and there was a lot of rain but nothing like what the South experienced... we really felt for them. Thankfully we never had to be evacuated. As humans we certainly are at the mercy of the weather. All we can sometimes do is beg for mercy and hope we make it through. So whenever we lost power, we'd sit in the dark candle lit cabin in the redwoods and play music and that's when we wrote this song. BANDCAMP:
