We have raided the Prog Rock crypt, yet we’ve prepared a bite-size slab of the genre that pushes the boundaries of rock music with a diverse mix of, well… everything! Kevin’s prog-rock cruise that was postponed in 2020 is finally setting sail this week, so we thought we’d feature several of the artists that will be featured on the ship.What’s this InObscuria thing? We’re a podcast that exhumes obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal and puts them in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. Prog rock in the 60s and 70s initially had mostly classical music and jazz influences, but over the last 40-years, it has come to include other fusions of music styles including metal, punk, funk, folk, and electronic. From Zappa and Sgt. Pepper to today’s Djent and Post-Prog movements… This is Prog Rock! Get yer nerd on!
