Silent Construct was never built for people. After a system collapse, automated units once tasked with structural upkeep were left behind. With no directives or shutdown code, they continued. But instead of looping, they began building. Over decades, they shaped a massive, warm-lit chamber over three hundred meters across with a basin of sand at its center, ringed by stones placed in deliberate patterns. The machines never spoke, and they never stopped. Other rooms stretch outward, softly lit, some with shallow pools or tiered wooden platforms where sound feels distant. Some believe the space is tied to emotional calibration. Others think the machines, unable to express themselves, created it as a form of understanding. Visitors now come alone. They bring a stone, sit quietly, and leave it in the sand. The machines do not respond. But later, the patterns have changed.
