The Red Bull Thre3style World Finals heated up tonight with the first official round of competition resulting in Chile's own DJ Byte walking away victorious, securing himself a spot at the Finals on November 9. Among the 500 party-goers who packed Toronto's Adelaide Hall was chart-topping American rapper Macklemore who watched DJ Byte face off against Lukas Canaves (Argentina), DJ Ray Ray (Taiwan) and DJ Twist (Azerbaijan).

Shifting through genres of punk, pop and Mozart, Byte's set embodied the true spirit of Red Bull Thre3style. An instant favorite with the judges - DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kid Koala, DJ Jubilee, Grandtheft and Skratch Bastid - Byte elevated the crowd to new heights generating the biggest response of the night. ____________________________________________________
