Dune is the eleventh album by Klaus Schulze. It was originally released in 1979, and in 2005 was the tenth Schulze album reissued by Revisited Records.The album was inspired in part by the 1965 Frank Herbert science-fiction novel Dune, which would remain a lifelong source of fascination for Schulze; his final album, 2022's Deus Arrakis, was also inspired by the book, and Schulze also contributed to Hans Zimmer's soundtrack for Dennis Villeneuve's 2021 film adaptation.
