In this quick 3.5-minute video, I customize a regular Hot Wheels car with two simple but satisfying upgrades:• Wheel swap using custom tires
• Tail light detailing with red acrylic paint
To open the metal base, I used a 1/16” drill bit to carefully drill through the rivets. This is a common technique when customizing die-cast cars and makes the whole process beginner-friendly.
