Hey. Don't have much time to shooting talking head videos, so another screen grab for you. Hybrid music production - combining hardware and software. It is very convenient ad easy to make music with a DAW, but one thing I don't like about it is mixing. I prefer mixing on analog gear because it makes everything differently, and mostly mixing OTB makes your mixing decisions differently. I made this track entirely in Reason 10. My sound card has 4 outputs, meaning I can assign 4 different (mono) sounds to output to my mixing desk. I grouped them in to breaks, 808 bass, percussion and pads with synths. I then assigned each track to my sound card's output and in to an analog channel of my mixer, where I did analog summing using outboard EQ and effects. Anyway, a fun thing to do things.
