Now cleaning the nesting boxes will be a breeze 🙌When you’re designing your chicken coop, it’s important to think about how you’ll clean each space! This is one change we made that had made deep cleaning sooo much easier.
At first we used tiny left over hinges we had in our spare hardware drawer and that did not work… the larger hinges seem to do the trick!
Special thanks to @eatonpetandpasture for sending us these nesting pads to try. Our girls have been using them for about 2 weeks now and we can already tell a HUGE difference. No more straw everywhere!! And the eggs are much cleaner when we collect them.
