This video is one of a series of videos that contain music video clips of popular music artists that hail from a particular city/state. This video includes artists that hail from New York. For groups, the city is where the group formed. For solo artists, the city is where the artist grew up, which may or may not be the birth city. Artists are listed alphabetically. Apologies for missing artists, the attempt is to include somewhat popular artists. New York is broken into 3 parts because of the volume of artists. Gary Wright is included here due to his attendance at New York University and studying psychology before joining Spooky Tooth in England. He could have also been included in New Jersey since his younger years were there.
