I'm starting a series for beginner guitar players! I have had a few people ask me to help them learn to play, so I thought I would use the channel as a way to share what I know about guitar. I'm no expert, but hopefully I can help others who want to want to learn how to play guitar!

This lesson will show you how to hold a guitar, how to hold a pick, how to pluck a string, and how to strum your first chord.

The goal of this lesson is to learn how to pluck and strum the open strings while properly holding the guitar. If you feel comfortable with the open strings, try playing the E minor chord shown in the video.
