This woman risked jailtime to help blind people. She first noticed people blocking the guiding pavement meant for blind people. And decided she needed to do something about it. So she went to the store to get paint and began painting. At first, it was only her.
Other people stopped by and asked her what she was doing. She expressed her desire for people to help her as she knew she wouldn't be able to finish the project on her own. So they started asking everyone passing to help out but no one wanted to.
Until one person agreed to help and an avalanche of support flooded in. For 3 days and 3 nights, people kept painting and painting. Even children stopped by to help out.
Some people who couldn't stay due to various reasons provided chairs, some provided snacks, and some provided gifts to show their support. It's really amazing what people can do when they come together.
The woman explained that she helped a blind man walk down this same road becaues the blind people walkway was blocked by people's cars and tables. That was the moment that sparked her desire to see change.
Now, she hopes people will step aside from the guidance pavement when they see it. And to avoid parking on the pavement.
These blind people are just like us who want to join the world but they can't do that when we don't consider their disability.
