This time I'm trying something a little different. This song is not one written by Tolkien, but inspired by his works nonetheless! Lyrics written by myself, but based on what we know from the books, chiefly from "Concerning Pipe-weed" from the prologue of the Lord of the Rings.

I felt that since the Hobbits were so proud of their pipe smoking tradition, they would have likely had some sort of ballad about their love for pipe-weed. Based on Bilbo's declaration that Old Toby was "the finest weed in the Southfarthing," this song is a tribute to Tobold Hornblower's finest discovery.

Lyrics and song structure composed by me and then passed through Suno to generate music; then editing and remixing done in an audio editor, per usual. Video made using clips from the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit films.
