In theory they are uncomparable yet here it is, a comparison of Audioengine A2+ and Audioengine A5+. In all honesty I like the sound quality of smaller A2+ more than its bigger brother everywhere except for the bass response. A5+ sounds muddier in the midrange and upper bass, its top end is a bit restrained. A2+, of course, has less bass punch and extension, yet if bass and ultimate loudness is not Your goal than A2+ is better speaker. What do You think? Which one would You choose and why?
