Today, we'll be showing you around this tiny home in the woods (🏡 🏡) set in Scarborough near the Toronto Zoo and Rouge National Urban Park. This custom-designed shipping container home has a circular window that looks off into the woods and on a clear night, you can even see the Big Dipper right from the bed. The tiny home is off-grid and has a foot pump sink, a special composting toilet, and freshwater provided in jugs. There's a propane camping grill for cooking outdoors and a firepit for roasting marshmallows and making smores.
We really enjoyed our two-night stay in this tiny home. It was relaxing and secluded, and during the day we went hiking in the nearby park. It was the perfect city escape and we didn't even have to go that far!

For dinner, we fire up the propane grill for juicy bacon cheddar burgers—served on naan for a creative twist—and later head out to the firepit for s’mores and marshmallow roasting under the stars. With plenty of outdoor seating, it’s a dreamy setting for a camp-style meal.
