Contrary to popular belief, B.B. had some impressive technical chops on the instrument (yes he could also play chords), which can be seen in this solo - however it's never to the detriment of musicality or his lyrical phrasing and story telling. These speedy runs are well placed and never overplayed. A perfect balance of tremendous technique and musicality.
If you're looking to stock up on fresh licks, develop your phrasing or improve your playing over chord changes - I highly recommend checking out this solo!
