Hot Chocolate is a pop soul music group that formed in London, England in 1968. Some media outlets have Hot Chocolate listed as a rhythm & blues group and some even include them as disco and funk.

Their hit songs with the most success include You Sexy Thing, Emma, So You Win Again, Every 1's a Winner, You Could Have Been a Lady and others. Every year from 1970 to 1984 the group had at least one hit song appear on the UK music charts.

"Hot Chocolate started their recording career making a reggae version of John Lennon's "Give Peace a Chance", but frontman Errol Brown was told he needed permission. He was contacted by Apple Records, discovered that Lennon liked his version, and the group was subsequently signed to Apple Records."
