Let me take you to East Germany. Yeah, it was a real country! From 1949 to 1990, it existed as
a communist state in Europe. But what happened? And why did it vanish?
The Cold War. East Germany was on one side, West Germany on the other. There was even a
massive wall dividing families, friends, an entire nation.
In 1989, something big happened! The Berlin Wall came crashing down—people rushed in,
celebrating! And guess what? The very next year, East Germany just... disappeared. It officially
united with West Germany. One country again!
The thing is, entire countries can vanish. Borders change, flags get swapped out, and boom, it's
