within the confines of Japanese private press records, many bands, especially from the 70s, were only able to scrounge up enough money to make a single EP or 7" rather than a full album. the musical material here amongst the ones that makes me wonder more than anything else what could've happened if they made a whole record. this is some of the most pure, warm and beautiful folk from the scene, with its heartwarming, relaxing, serene a-side and its' bittersweet, jangly b-side. the voices of the vocalists here as they sing together are borderline angelic in their innocence. this group had created a masterpiece beyond any recognition, but i doubt they realized it at the time. one of the very best in the Wonder Ground book.
