Shiny Happy People is a four-episode docuseries on Amazon Prime about the cult of Bill Gothard: IBLP, or Institute of Basic Life Principles. It covers the Duggar family, who was popular on TLC for their show 19 Kids and Counting. It exposes the dark side of these beliefs and things that went on behind the scenes. I sit with my good friends Jeremiah Roberts and Andrew Soncrant from @TheCultishShow to discuss this docu-series from a Christian perspective.
