This is genius. He starts by slicing a few furring strips and forming a basic rectangular frame. Then, he tightly stretches half-inch galvanized mesh across the top, securing it all around with staples. After placing a second layer of strips to lock the mesh in place, the frame is complete. When he shakes it, the fine soil sifts right through, leaving behind stones, twigs, and heavy chunks—perfect prep for a smooth, low-cut lawn with a manual mower.
