I have been looking for a printed version of this book for 2-3 years now and I finally found it. This an original 1947 publication, the first of its kind, Mel Bay book of Jazz guitar chords.

I have studied from Mel Bay's Ronny Lee Jazz Guitar system for a while, and I liked that a lot. The Ronny Lee system comes in two volumes volume one deals with melodic playing and volume two deals with learning and using altered Jazz chords.

I really wanted to get my hands on this 1947 edition of Mel Bay's Jazz Guitar Chord System, and the word "Orchestral" really had me intrigued because I assumed this would mean bigger, more stretchy, fuller sounding chords. After looking at just a few pages this morning, this assumption appears to have been correct.

I will share some of my progress as I study from this book in the next few weeks. Very glad to have found a copy of this original edition.
