This is the video that started it all: the first of what turned out to be more than 200 blues harmonica instructional videos from yours truly, originally uploaded on February 22, 2007. After accruing hundreds of thousands of views, this video was deleted by YouTube about a year ago for "violating community standards." It does nothing of the sort. I have carefully reviewed all of YouTube's community guidelines, including the fine print. This is a short, innocuous video in which I speak briefly about the state of harmonica teaching on YouTube in early 2007, then say that I'm going to share my knowledge of the harp with the community--after which I play a little music.
If anybody can explain to me why this video was taken down by YouTube after more than five years, please do so! Write to me on this channel. Or make suggestions in the comments section.
In the meantime, as a public service, I'm putting this one out there again.
