*The Face of My Sweetheart* (1983) is the second full-length album by Uzbek ensemble YALLA, released by the Soviet label Melodia. This album showcases a distinctive fusion of traditional Uzbek folk elements with jazz-rock and electronic music, marking a significant evolution in the band's musical style.

The album features a unique arrangement of Rabindranath Tagore's poem “The Last Poem,” composed by Alexey Rybnikov. This track stands out with its blend of flute, electric organ, and the traditional Uzbek percussion instrument, doyra. The slower songs are enriched with the sounds of the Minimoog synthesizer and acoustic guitar, while the more upbeat tracks incorporate the ghijak, a traditional bowed string instrument, adding a distinctive Eastern flavor to the compositions.

The Face of My Sweetheart solidified YALLA's reputation as pioneers in integrating Central Asian musical heritage with modern genres, leaving a lasting impact on the Soviet and post-Soviet music scene.
