Fans were quick to draw comparisons between her fit and Britney Spears’ iconic outfit she wore during a performance of her song ‘Slave 4 U’ at the 2001 VMA’s. Taking to social media, users began posting side-by-side comparisons of the two performers' outfits.
Tyla was quick to shut down the speculation though, responding to this since deleted tweet and saying ‘Love her but I just thought the outfit was fly…no inspo’ Some people weren’t happy with her response though, with one writing ‘I personally think she is a copycat and too full of herself’ Tyla quickly shut down this commenters remark by responding with ‘Personally I think you should shut up’.
