Torso S4 ambient experiments with the Solar 42f

Experimenting with the new Torso S4. This thing is a wonderful ambient playground, and lends itself really well to sound on sound looping.

Here I’ve recorded to the 4 tracks with some field recordings coupled with some synth parts from the Solar 42f, and then manipulated them with the onboard S4 effects. I’m using the 3rd track in overdub mode to allow for frippertronic style sound on sound looping as I play.

I have also used one of the modulation lanes to randomly modulate various parameters in the tracks such as start point, delay time, length etc which creates an additional layer of movement.
