Recently, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province of east China, two ancient Manchurian catalpa trees, both 537 years old, simultaneously burst into bloom side by side near West Lake. This pair, known as the "most beautiful ancient trees", belongs to one of the famous "living fossils" species in the plant kingdom. #plants #tree #flowers #spring
