Here we have our original port of Armbian desktop for the MXQ TV box with the Amlogic S805 SOC - This port was done over a year ago and cost a considerable amount to get to this point, unfortunately the developer walked away from the project for some unknown reason.

You will need a SD card - The faster the better - Not all MXQ Motherboards are supported.

Ensure to unzip the file below, here is a suitable tool -

Since then, the developer Balbes150, over on freaktab has ported Armbian for the MXQ S805 as well as a number of different TV box with Amlogic SOC's - The port done by Balbes is far more mature, including more WIFI drivers etc.
