US President Joe Biden is convening a national security meeting in the situation room.This comes as the Middle East prepares for an Iranian response to the killing of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders last week.
The US is deploying additional military resources to the Middle East in an effort to de-escalate tensions.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told the G7 an attack from Iran and Hezbollah was imminent.
