I am proudly Chinese-Canadian. The recent increase in violence against the Asian community due to the recent racist rhetoric surrounding the pandemic has been heartbreaking. Innocent elderly citizens of various Asian backgrounds have been physically and verbally attacked. Now more than ever, we need allies. Please be on the lookout in your community, and of course, please raise awareness.
