This is kind of a slight departure from my ambient pieces. I've been always fascinated with choirs and Gregorian chants, and I wanted to give these voices a chance to reveal a darker side. The religious undertones were just an excuse for me to explore this dark choral ambiance, as the many voices layer on top of each other creating a very solemn atmosphere. "Miserere Mei" roughly means "Have mercy on me, Lord" in Latin and it's an old litany.
