Use this video to test your ears. Try singing the reference C, then the root of the chord. Try to determine the distance between the two. Then try to determine the quality of the chord, whether it's Maj7, min7, etc. You can have a guitar nearby if you need it, but try not to fumble around the fretboard to find the chord.
