Watch in HD!!! This is a song by Jason Kui titled 'Polarized', and its off of his latest release titled 'Absence of Words'.

Jason hit me up a couple of months ago to record the drums for this release, and I was very glad I did so. I had A LOT of fun recording these songs, and Jason is an amazing person to work with. Jason was kind enough to allow me to embellish a lot of the grooves and fills all throughout these songs. 'Polarized' is definitely my favorite song drum-wise off the album mainly because of how much energy certain sections have.

Its been fairly difficult to upload video content as of recently, BUT for good reason. I've been extremely busy recording drums for session work and mixing bands. I've already recorded a lot of video, but I've had little to no time for editing any of this content. I do plan on uploading more videos in the near future of bands I've done session work for as well as other covers I have planned to shoot.

I use Remo Emperor Clear's on tom batter heads, Remo Ambassador Clear's on tom resonant heads, a Powerstroke 3 on the kick batter, a Coated Controlled Sound for the snare batter, and a Clear Emperor Hazy for the snare resonant.
