Living Faith Bible Institute serves to mold every student into the image of Christ in order to mobilize them to minister the word of God to the world.
Our Approach to Biblical instruction
LFBI utilizes experienced pastors and missionaries for classroom instruction. We serve to teach students how to confidently study the Bible, identify God’s will for their lives, and establish a vision for personal ministry. The school currently offers an Associate of Divinity through a 60 credit hour program of study that focuses on theology and ministry leadership development. We strive to create an affordable and flexible online learning experience that supports a variety of unique student needs.
Our emphasis on Personal Growth
LFBI measures student competency in terms of ministry and life application. Our curriculum aims to grow students in biblical knowledge, faith and a relationship with Jesus Christ within his Word and prayer. Our program of study is designed to promote ministry involvement, leadership and spiritual growth in conjunction with and through the structure and authority of each students local church.
Our vision to impact the world
LFBI serves to raise up a generation who will reach the world with the gospel. Our primary objective is that students discover how to apply their knowledge of God's word in light of God’s eternal plan. Our students are trained to be leaders in the work of evangelism, discipleship, and missions — committing what they have learned to other faithful believers.
Our Approach to Assessment
The Living Faith Bible Institute is committed to building a culture of effective assessment focused on accurately measuring and promoting a mastery of knowledge and understanding. The Academic Affairs department, in conjunction with faculty professors of each academic area, is actively designing assessments around biblical objectives that highlight knowledge, skills and values necessary for leading in a ministry context.
In each syllabus, these biblical objectives are expressed as Measurable Learning Outcomes. The program’s content, student experiences, and teaching methodologies are then aligned in a way to help students achieve these learning outcomes, and student work is tracked and measured using program assessment data.
We believe the true measurement of student success is actualized in the local church setting or on the mission field, which is why we strive to build working relationships with pastors and churches who have entrusted us with their growing disciples. Our Student Affairs department is actively working to build open lines of communication with students and their pastors to ensure this transfer of knowledge its resulting in real life application.
