Today, we are looking at some interesting picking patterns and associated techniques along with some dark voicings perfect for playing Black Metal riffs.

I played an LTD EC-1000 Deluxe in Standard tuning through an Audient iD4 mkII using the Neural DSP Plini X custom preset Painful KVLT and Keltic KVLT from Chernobyl Audio’s 90s Black Metal presets pack in REAPER.
