OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!Today, I am finally announcing my partnership with the amazing @wincentdrumsticks !
So from today, I will play exclusively Wincent, more specifically my Signature model: Mauricio Extreme Drums. This signature model is basically the standard 2B but with a very specific weight, which makes it a quite interesting all round drumstick.
In over 30 years of drumming, I came to understand what are the most important aspects of a drumstick for my style: “punch with great rebound”, and that you can only get with heavy drumsticks, in my experience.
The weight of a 5B or even a 2B can fool a lot of drummers that wanna play fast music but in reality, when you are playing, heavy drumsticks will do a lot of the work for you, trust me! Specially on those fast single stroke fills in Death Metal, and Blast Beats, of course.
