Another one where I can hardly any info about! From what I’ve gathered, Purple Wine consisted of Bob Tansley (organ), Dave Moore (guitar), and Brian Cox (drums). They recorded a rare privately pressed album sometime around 1971 and were also approached by the UK The National Association for Mental Health and Associate Mental Health Organisations to record this EP to bring awareness to mental health. Copies of both their releases go for considerable amounts these days - a copy of the album sold for £600 at the end of 2024!
