Poland Threatens NATO To Withdraw Support For Ukraine. Trump Disappointed In Russia

The European Commission will block funds to countries which are not respecting EU standards, calling them “democratic backsliders”. The EU singles out Hungary, who has not abided by European Union’s decisions. Outgoing Polish President Duda has attacked both EU and NATO for not consulting with Poland in important matters and has threatened with the withdrawal of Polish support for Ukraine. Marco Rubio and Sergey Lavrov have had a meeting and neither of them has disclosed the full details of the conversation. Marco Rubio has stated that the Russians have proposed a new approach to the war in Ukraine, while Donald Trump has stated that he’s disappointed in Russia. Rubio has also urged European NATO allies to share and donate their Patriot batteries to Ukraine, singling out Germany and Spain.
