In this two part video, in the first part I make a bunch of sounds with the Oberheim OB-1 and pipe the raw audio into Ableton Live and sample a bunch of it.

Production is done using OBS and a few dodgy cameras.

At the end I make a bunch of instruments from the samples and setup a few effect chains in Ableton on the channels and viola! If you can open the file you can have an amazing Oberheim OB-1 experience.

In the video I also show you how to edit the patches and how to change the waveforms that are available.

Each instrument has a lot of sample options to choose from. Too many to have shown in the video.

The sessions were edited down from over 5 hours to about 30 minutes, leaving out the entire Elektron sample session. In a way, broadcasting it would have been breach of copyright, but doing the work off-camera, then making a beat with the sounds and broadcasting THAT is somehow OK.
