Hi everyone, this is an exceptional video. I never talk about politics cause my thing is music, but this time I can't stay silent cause it's about a friend and also about music, so here it goes:
I guess you all probably heard about all what's happening in Spain and Catalonia. I won't talk about the problem itself, but I wanna denounce the repressive attitude of the spanish government, specifically with what they did 1 month and something ago. They sent the police to arrest a friend of mine, Adri, acusing him of rebelion and terrorism (which can take you to prison for 30 years). He is a lovely guy, with social awarness (more than me, which I respect him for a lot), who was involved in some road cuts and demonstrations for all what's happening in Catalonia, the same as many other friends of mine. They choosed him randomly, to scare people and show what can happen to you, if you don't agree with the government and do stuff to show it. This is not a single case, similar stuff is happening to many other people in Catalonia and Spain, but this time it affects me more than ever.
He is a good friend, a funny guy and also a very good musician, we were starting a band together and we did this recording one day, which is a medley of different traditional songs from Brittany. I play Bouzouki and Flute, Adri plays Flute and Guitar.
The world of folk and music has lost an artist due to repression in Spain. I'll leave in the description the links to the social media of the support platform; please, help us to make this problem reach as many people as possible, it's the only hope we have that there can be real justice with this.
Also, I'd like to make a call to all the musicians who would like to contribute somehow: if you feel like, you can upload any piece of folk music or whatever genre, and tag it with #AdriEtVolemACasa; that will help us spread the word using what, for me, most represents Adri: music.

Hola a todos, éste es un video excepcional. Nunca hablo de política porque lo mío es la música, pero esta vez no me puedo quedar callado porque se trata de un amigo y también de música, así que ahí va:
Supongo que todos estáis más o menos al corriente de lo que pasa en Catalunya y España, y quizá tengáis distintos modos de verlo. No entraré en eso ni hablaré del problema en sí, pero quiero denunciar la actitud represiva del estado, en concreto por lo que hicieron hace poco más de un mes. Enviaron a la policía para arrestar a un amigo mío, Adri, acusándolo de rebelión y terrorismo (con penas de hasta 30 años). Es un chico muy majo, con conciencia social (más que yo, por lo que le respeto mucho), y participó en cortes de carreteras y manifestaciones por el problema político que hay en Cataluña, igual que muchos otros amigos míos. Lo eligieron al azar, para meter miedo a la gente y dejar claro lo que te puede pasar si no estás de acuerdo con el gobierno y lo demuestras públicamente. No es un caso aislado, cosas similares le están pasando a mucha otra gente en Catalunya y el resto de España, pero esta vez me afecta más que nunca.
Es un buen amigo, una persona con sentido del humor y también un muy buen músico, estábamos empezando un proyecto musical juntos y un día hicimos esta grabación, que es un mix de temas tradicionales de la Bretaña francesa. Yo toco el Bouzouki y la Flauta, Adri toca la Flauta y la Guitarra.
El mundo del folk y de la música ha perdido a un artista por causa de la represión en España. Dejaré en la descripción los links a las redes sociales de la plataforma de soporte; por favor, ayúdanos a hacer llegar el problema a la máxima gente posible, es la única esperanza que tenemos que haya justicia real en este caso.
También, me gustaría hacer una llamada a todos los músicos que quieran contribuir de alguna manera: si os apetece, podéis hacer y subir algo de música folk o de cualquier otro género, y etiquetarlo con #AdriEtVolemACasa; eso nos ayudará a hacer difusión usando lo que, para mí, más representa a Adri: la música.
