BAFTA nominated producer Farah Abushwesha, who created the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Competition, in conversation with playwright and screenwriter Hannah Patterson. Farah has produced a back catalogue of successful TV series that have aired on ITV (The Singapore Grip), BBC (The ABC Murders) and Netflix (Irreplaceable You), and is the author of Rocliffe Notes - A Professional Approach for Screenwriters & Writer-Directors and Rocliffe Notes - Low budget Filmmaking. We’ll be discussing Farah’s approach to low budget filmmaking and how to think creatively when faced with limitations. We’ll chat about how to avoid writers block during lockdown, the best set-up for writing from home and ways to help stay feeling connected when writing in isolation.
