With her persistence in creating a journey that is adventurous and stimulating, Ish Anja does not box herself in and instead embodies every side of herself in her music. Feminine, clever, rebellious, dark, light, colorful and full of hope.

Her production style typically involves emotive melodies, tough dark kicks, and her own vocals - all to convey an experience blending both the dark and light. She gains inspiration for her tracks from nostalgic eras of time, collective experiences, and her own inner strength, in hopes her listeners will open their hearts even more into a deeper introspection within themselves.

​Ish Anja has played at multiple venues in Melbourne and has become a fan favourite in the New Guernica attic. She has also supported artists including Claudio PRC, Christian Smith, Anthony Pappa, Eric Powell and more to come!

​Alongside her music, she has a passion for writing, animals, humanitarian causes that are close to her and enjoys learning about human consciousness.

Tilt Shift sits firmly left of center, a difficult-to-label square peg that unintentionally fails to fit a pigeonhole. Borrowing from the photography term, Tilt Shift refers to two different types of movement, a selective focus with a large depth of field used to control perception. As we have come to think of it, it’s where the lines blur

Since our debut as Tilt Shift in 2017 facilitated events at a variety of the city's most reputable late-night haunts like Revolver, Boney, Section 8 & New Guernica. In this time we have hosted & toured artists such as: Marvin & Guy, Curses, The Hacker, Tronic Youth & Timothy Clerkin
