I truly do love this. The larger than life Kitty has recorded several songs for us, most notably "Witchcraft", another song bursting with hope for the future. That particular song was originally for the famous actor Benjamin Barnes, back in 2003. Ben and I co-wrote that fabulous smooth uplifting future soul classic with Clive Scott. I decided to remake it with Kitty, speeding it up and turning it into a storming Northern Soul anthem. Kitty is just fabulous and such a warm hearted person, and it makes me proud to have artists of this calibre on Centre City Records. She delighted us with a sweet, playful 60's Motown-pastiche "Guessing Games". Kitty had been a famous London DJ under the name of Kitty Kat, but once she turned her hand to singing, she excelled and made a perfect Centre City artist. She had always been known for her bright red dreadlocks, but we decided to go for a more demure and feminine image for her. Kitty Corbin, along with Jennifer Dee, Verna Francis, Marvin Cotterell, Shenton Dixon and my new male soul group, The Concentrations, represents the new generation of Centre City artists. I've Been Blessed is not a Gospel song but it has a wonderful uplifting message for everybody
