This gothic dark wave instrumental was originally written to accompany one of my craft videos on YouTube but it has now developed a life of its own and turned into a song as well! It is a melancholy gothic synth-pop composition. It has elements of dreams and nightmares. At times it is upbeat, at other times creepy and sorrowful.
(I appreciate that many of the parts go out of the instrument's range but I am using the instruments as midi electronic voices rather than imagining that I would get an ensemble of these instruments together to play the piece live.)

I am currently saving for a pair of high quality noise-cancelling headphones that I can use when composing. The headphones block out external noise. I live in an urban area and I am surrounded by building work so it would be wonderful to be able to really focus in on my composition without interruption.
