An Ontario woman is thanking Hyundai for paying for vehicle repairs after the car's catalytic converter was stolen while being repaired at an Orangeville Hyundai and the dealership refused to take responsibility.
Diane Reid, the owner of the car, called Global News after the dealership told her the theft was "out of our control," and she faced about $2,000 plus installation for a replacement unit.
As Sean O'Shea reports, Hyundai Canada itself got involved after seeing the dealership's treatment of Reid in Global News' report and paid for the vehicle's repairs, detailing and a little more on top of that.
