It was loose, so we easily penetrated it into a long, gradually widening corridor that led to a large semi-rusty elevator. The whole thing felt like a descent into some forgotten mine or something. To our surprise, the elevator was live and working, so we called him. After quite a long time, it stopped with a rumble and we got in, knowing that we were probably not doing the most sensible thing. We pressed the "down" button and the thing moved with a rumble. As we approached the bottom floor, the noise around us grew louder. When we came to a screeching halt and the grate moved away, we entered a stuffy, musty, steam-saturated environment of some kind of industrial catacombs. Connected by corridors, we gradually passed through several large, dark halls full of strange devices and equipment... The inscription on a rusty tablet on the wall of one of them read "The Core"..."
For this track, a portion of my "Alone In Space" video soundtrack has been utilized and prologed to 1 hour. It was made with Novation Mininova synthesizer plus delays and reverbs applied in Cubase.
