Crystalline turquoise waters, pebbly beaches, and mountains as far as the eye can see. Yes, this is Patagonia! We recently had the opportunity to stay at Estancia Arroyo Verde, a family-owned and managed fly-fishing lodge set on the shores of the famous Traful River and Traful Lake. The estancia is situated within Nahuel Huapi National Park, the oldest national park in Argentina.

We spent two days here walking along the shores of Lake Traful, riding horses through the Patagonian steppe, watching deer stroll the valley at sunrise and sunset, and gathering together in the evenings to share meals with fellow guests and family members. This is a video of our experience there.
