The Korg Electribe 2 is triggering the analog drum machine playback & sequencing the FM synth. The drum patterns are programmed on the MFB-301 itself. The drums and FM synth are both running through the WEM Copicat tape echo and into a single, mono channel on the tape machine. The Korg ES2 is recorded directly to tape in stereo. (3 tracks used in total)
I recorded and mixed this on my Tascam 688 tape machine, using the WEM Copicat once again as an FX send.
