this is a bit of an old rip that was left on the backburner for some time, so it won't sound as good as my last upload, but i've cleaned it to the best of my ability – this LP was pretty used up! that said, it's an amazing record with strong late 70s vibes. Oeyama was a group from Tokyo and i guess also a "sound company" of sorts. the album came with a small green booklet that also had an address and a postcard enclosed within, possibly for inquiring about recording at their services. my first assumption when i went through the inserts was: "this is definitely an advertisement album of some kind." i guess we'll never know for certain, but it's a good guess. unfortunately the pressing of this album is a bit shouty so it's hard to get strong dynamics out of the mixing, but what's contained within is a very creative folk-psych rock record that's drenched in cheesy (and not-so-cheesy) synthesizers with male and female vocals. some tracks are a lot more poppier or weirder than others, so there's a varied selection of "vibes" so to say. super interesting one, and expensive to boot unfortunately, lol.
this is where i'd tell you to support the artists but you literally can't. just enjoy the music, that's as much as we can do :')
