Ukraine said on Tuesday that it fired at North Korean troops deployed to Russia, on the same day that Pyongyang test fired at least seven short-range missiles.
Allies have condemned North Korea's missile launches, but they have not sent more help to Ukraine after the new soldiers arrived. In response, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for more support from his allies, saying the North Korean troops bring instability.
Ukraine and South Korea have claimed more than 10,000 North Korean troops are in Kursk.
